Who we are
The Planning Files is a wedding planning app, currently in a private, invitation-only beta. For anything about your data, contact hello@thebridefiles.com.
What we store
- Your account: your email address and the name you give us.
- Your plans: events, tasks, budget, payments, vendors, run sheets, seating, contacts, and the traditions you choose.
- Your guest list: the names and any details you add (for example phone numbers or dietary needs). Only add what you're comfortable storing for planning.
- A history of changes in your workspace, so mistakes can be traced and put right.
We only use this to run the app for you. We don't sell it or use it for advertising.
Who processes it for us
- Supabase stores your data (London, UK).
- Vercel runs the app (London, UK).
- Resend sends account emails, such as password resets (EU).
- Sentry receives error reports so we can fix problems (EU). These contain no names, email addresses, guest details or anything you type.
- Anthropic, only if you turn on Rumi, our optional AI assistant: the details Rumi needs to answer you are sent to Anthropic to write each reply. Anthropic does not use this data to train its AI models.
Your workspace is private to you. Other couples can never see it.
Your choices and rights
- Download your data at any time from your account page.
- Delete your account from the same page. Your account is locked straight away and permanently deleted after 7 days; backups are overwritten within a further 7 days.
- Rumi is optional. You can turn it on or off at any time; everything else works without it.
- You can ask us to correct your data, or ask any question about it, at hello@thebridefiles.com.
